MedCruise, the largest Association of Mediterranean Cruise Ports representing 153 ports from 22 countries in 3 different continents and 53 Associate Members, has had a very productive mandate with many new initiatives and services, which are now supported by technological innovations on its digital platforms.
One of the most outstanding improvements is the geolocation of each member, a fundamental change in terms of precision and accuracy.

Every year, crew members calling at Pointe de Floride, where Le Havre's cruise ships are berthed, represent over 25% of those on board (i.e. 156,976 crew members in 2023, for 436,609 passengers).
In contact with passengers, they become our ambassadors. A warm welcome will encourage them to share their experience ashore, and to help visitors discover the emblematic sites and nuggets of our destination.

This year, CAI - Cruise Atlantic Islands celebrates its 30th anniversary. During these three decades, we have witnessed remarkable growth in the cruise sector, shaping a unique region. We have created synergies between the port authorities of Madeira, Las Palmas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Cabo Verde and the Azores, turning the Atlantic into a globally recognised cruise itinerary.
From our beginnings, we were pioneers in Europe when we joined forces to work together, convinced that in unity we would be stronger.
