Francesca Antonelli Ibáñez is Marketing and Cruises Manager at the Port Authority of Valencia where she has been working since 2008 promoting the Port of Valencia in the business development and commercial department for both cargo and cruise traffic.
She has a degree in history and romance philology from the University of Bern and the University of La Sapienza in Rome, and has a Master’s degree from the University of Lucerne, Switzerland, in Intercultural Communication and another from the University of Comillas in Port Management and Intermodal Transport. She has completed her training in Diversity Management and is an Intercultural Mediator. She speaks English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Valencian and has knowledge of Chinese.
After a period dedicated to teaching, she worked in Switzerland in different companies of the private and public sectors as External Relations and Communications Director until 2002, when she moved to Spain to work in the Swiss Embassy in Madrid, where she was responsible for the management of the image and reputation of the Helvetic country in Spain.
In 2006 she moved to Valencia to join the team promoting Valencia as the venue for the 32nd America’s Cup where she lives to date.
