Silversea's Managing Director, UK and EMEA, Andreas Nüssel has accrued 25 years of experience in the global cruise industry, as well as a wealth of knowledge in the luxury travel sector.

Prior to rejoining Silversea Cruises in March 2020, Nüssel had previously spent five years with the leading experiential travel brand between 2012 and 2017, rising to the Head of Field Sales in the DACH market. Nüssel subsequently joined another global cruise company as the Head of Sales for the DACH market, before returning to Silversea as Managing Director, Europe, in March 2020. Since June 2025, Nüssel's leadership has been expanded to also include the U.K. market.
