Michael Greve is the Practice Lead, Cruise Port Development & Investment Advisory at Tourism Economics, an Oxford Economics company. He advises governments, port authorities, cruise lines, and investors in the Americas, Europe, and Asia on cruise tourism strategy, destination development, port investment, and public-private partnerships.

Mr. Greve has more than 25 years of experience in the cruise industry as a developer, investor, and adviser. His earlier career included hotel development and investment at Hilton, followed by corporate planning and commercial development roles at Royal Caribbean Group, where he managed port and destination investments, including CocoCay, PortMiami, San Juan, and other projects in the Caribbean and Alaska. He has also served as a consultant to Carnival Corporation, advising on destination development for the company’s largest port investments, including Celebration Key, Grand Turk, and Mahogany Bay.
In addition to his advisory role, he is President of Blue Crest Development, where he leads port development projects as a principal. In total, he has been involved in more than 70 tourism and cruise projects across 20 countries.
